ICD-10: Circulatory System
The circulatory system is made up of the heart and the blood vessels that carry the blood throughout our bodies. The heart is the hard-working muscle whose function is to pump the blood through the vessels. There are three basic types of blood vessels: arteries, veins, and capillaries.
